To succeed in life, we need the help and support of other people.

For example, here in FanBox, to earn, we need others viewing – and sharing -- our photos, blogs and videos -- and promoting, bidding and buying our products and services.

Sometimes people share or buy things simply because what we’ve posted or are selling – is simply amazing. They can’t help but to want to share it with their own friends and fans – because they assume others will take the same personal joy out of it.

And sometimes they are sharing or buying to help us. Indeed, many times in life we help others, because they do the same for us.

Anybody that has achieved any level in success in FanBox, has realized that they need the support of others – and they learned how to get that support.

So, what’s the best way to convince others to help us?

Even a child in this world soon learns that the best way to get what she wants, is to first give others what they want.

And even in business school, they teach us to “Build our network”.  We are taught to help as many people as possible get what they want, so that when we need something, they are motivated to do the same for us.

So many of the great business persons, sales persons, artists, musicians, and politicians often talk about how building their network was the first step to their success.

As Martin Luther King Jr. Said:

“Life's most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others? To ensure your own success, simply do 1,000 times more for others than they do for you.”

As the old saying goes, if any activity is worth doing, it’s worth measuring, and setting a goal – so we can achieve more.

But in our lives, there has never really been a good way to measure how much we do for each other.

Until today.

As you know, the BFO (Biggest Fans Online) feature that was released last month, was the first step towards providing all FanBox members the ability to see the biggest fans within their network, and giving them a way to give back to their network through viewing and sharing all of the unread stories that they had not seen yet.

Today, two more additional tools have been released to help all FanBox members:

  1. Learn how well they are doing at building their network,
  2.  What they can do to improve their progress
  3.  How that all relates to them achieving the positive results, such as increased earnings

Building My Network tool

As discussed above, building a large network of loyal fans and friends is the best way to succeed on FanBox.

Through the “Build My Network” tool, you are able to get specific details in real time of how much network value you are creating for yourself based on the network resources you are putting out. In addition, you are able to see how your network value relates to the amount of earnings and new fans you are gaining.

Anytime that you perform a network building activity such as sharing someone’s posts, bidding on or buying their products, you are allocating your network resources and gaining network value in the process.

Now Launching: Building My Network

I have read it a couple of times and I hope i have understood it correctly that the graph shows how much of our activity in terms of lkes and posts and comments and bidding and buying has caused us to actually earn. It will not take into acount any activity we do on profile pages.

And the gauge shows how much we have done for the other person and we should work to keep it in green.

Though I understood the difference in Active and all time network score..I could not understand this like "Your active network score, is the portion of your network value that is actively creating opportunities for you."

All of us here can not thank you enough for your efforts in creating more and more earning opportunities for us. Thank you so much for another great feature.

Jimmy,

Great to hear you like these new features.

To answer your question:

"Your active network score, is the portion of your network value that is actively creating opportunities for you."

People in your active network are the people that show up as your BFO's, which means they are the people that are sharing your posts, and bidding on and buying your things that you sell or promote. The more BFOs you have, the more you will earn, and the best way to get a lot of BFO's is to be a BFO to as many people as possible.

So when you go to someone's profile and see that you are in the yellow or red with them, that means they are doing more for you (which is good because they have helped you earn) than you have done for them. So as long as you are always working to help others and get into the green zone, then you are almost certain to have a lot of people doing the same for you.

Hope that helps explain the relevance! Let me know if you have any other questions.
