“Hello every FanBoxer, I am Syed Irfan Hussein from Pakistan.

The Fanbox mission is to "uplift Humanity (Bringing Value) by enabling opportunity (technology i.e. Fanbox)".

There are two major problems that our world currently faces:

1) impact of technology on unemployment

2) failure of capitalism caused unemployment and creating more gaps between rich, poor and middle class of society

I think in coming years there will be no middle class but only two classes Rich and Poor. New wealth is already going to top 1% of billionaires from last 30 years. The disastrous situation that our world will face is that 600 million new jobs will be required in upcoming 8 years to maintain current unemployment situation. If we do not succeeded at creating those jobs, then there will be wars on scarce resources and more corrupt society everywhere in the world. Countries, terrorist groups having atomic and chemical weapons will make the situation even worse.

1. Impact of Technology on Unemployment

Today there is a renewed concern that technological advancement may displace much of the manufacturing (and other) work force, creating widespread unemployment, social disruption, and human hardship. For example, in 1983 the Upjohn Institute for Employment Research forecasted the existence of 50,000 to 100,000 industrial robots in the United States by 1990, resulting in a net loss of some 100,000 jobs.

In a much-cited 1983 article, the great economist Wassily Leontief worried that the pace of modern technological change is so rapid that many workers, unable to adjust, will simply become obsolete, like horses after the rise of the automobile. Are millions of workers headed for the glue factory?

As Asian wages rise, factory managers are already looking for opportunities to replace employees with robots, even in China. As the advent of cheap smartphones fuels a boom in Internet access, online purchases will eliminate a vast number of retail jobs. Back-of-the-envelope calculations suggest that, worldwide, technological change could easily lead to the loss of 5-10 million jobs each year.

2. Failure of Capitalism We live in interesting times

The global economy is splintering.

U.S. voters hate all politicians and there's political unrest throughout the world.

The root cause of this turmoil is the failure of the dominant economic paradigm -- global corporate capitalism.

The modern world is ruled by multinational corporations and governed by a capitalistic ideology that believes: Corporations are a special breed of people, motivated solely by self-interest. Corporations seek to maximize return on capital by leveraging productivity and paying the least possible amount for taxes and labor. Corporate executives pledge allegiance to their directors and shareholders. The dominant corporate perspective is short term, the current financial quarter, and the dominant corporate ethic is greed, doing whatever it takes to maximize profit.

Why I am a good candidate to present the community as a President?

As an Success Coach for the last 2 years, I have a good understanding of how the website works, what we have achieved so far, and what is not accomplished yet.

Professionally I am an auditor in Government Sector and we do audit of big Government departments. I can see influence of outside forces on these Government departments affecting the Government structure as a whole. Government is working for self-interest of a small group of country i.e. multinational/national corporations. FanBox’s mission is to eliminate this around the world and give new idea to ill capitalist system.

I think I can run as a President well because of my experience on Audit of internal controls, financial management, and HRD.

I would like to thank FanBox for giving me this amazing opportunity. I wish best of luck to all other candidates!

Thank You!”

Please use this post to share your thoughts and support with Syed, and be on the lookout for the next set of candidates being announced over the course of the next several weeks.
