Hello everyone,

As you know, empowr has built the world’s first democratic social media platform where you (the citizens) have influence over the company’s products and policies - and even the ability to elect the company president.

Earlier this year when you elected me as your president, I was granted a 6 month work permit to travel to the United States and work with the empowr team at their headquarters in San Diego, California. This meant that I had to leave the USA before the work permit ended, and re-apply to enter back into the country.

This time, United States customs has refused entry, which has cut short my ability to work as empowr’s president. For that reason, it is with a heavy heart that I must resign my role as president of empowr.

Moving Forward

While I may not be continuing on as empowr’s president, I still care very much about this community. I will continue to be actively involved in the Success Coach program, and do everything in my power to help make this a success for us all.

I would like to thank you, the community, for electing me as your leader during our transition to the new empowr platform. I would especially like to thank Brian Woosley and all of the staff at empowr for welcoming me to San Diego these past months, and I am sure that you will welcome the next democratically elected president with the same enthusiasm!

I wish you all the very best of success, and I’ll see you around empowr!

P.S. The next step forward in our democracy is to establish a constitution and start the next empowr presidential election. Soon, you will be hearing from some of empowr’s advisors on how that process will work and what you can do to take part in it.

This is so disruptive. I remember even the presidential candidates' debates could not be done done at San Diego due to a related issue of travel visas. Perhaps it is time for major reviews. I cannot see their final form yet. I believe you have more practical suggestions. Perhaps the longer term could take the form of persuading the US government to recognize empowr as a cyber state that can have the empowr president as its ambassador to the US.

Hi Martin,

It was limited period and we know how hard it is to setup all your plans helping everyone on the site.
You have good experience working with empowr team and I am hoping that our next President will take your suggestions to help our community. Thank you for being here in taking this challenge.

I am really over and over disappointed about the American politics. Not only in your case Martin. But what happened now can mean that only US citizens can become president.
I feel sorry, you are a righteous man, as I think, and also have obviously great language and management ability.
I hope that things will improve better in USA, we should send all European migrants there! :-D

Right Kveto, but if empowr were centered in another country I think we can all agree that it would be even more difficult to make this system work as well as flying presidential candidates in for a debate and then getting work permits granted...I may be wrong, but I doubt it. These are scary times in this world and security and discretion can never be overrated. I have a feeling that there is more to Martin's resignation than we are finding out or being informed of. I wish empowr would get this show on the road...have a new democratic election and get someone in office with a higher level work ethic. The money being made with this system has surely never been distributed to the community so hopefully the higher ups use it to benefit the hard working community and secure this system with a more worthy group of empowr presidential candidates. I will hope for the best.

Sorry to hear this, Martin. Does this mean that only an American citizen can be the President of Empowr?
Anyway I wish you all the best in your life and hope that you will stay with us. Thank you for all that you have done for Empowr and the Citizens. God bless.
