Marketplace issues

Hi everyone,

We are aware of the issues you are facing when you are trying to place your bid (extreme slowness, timing out, etc) as well as similar issues in the various marketplace pages.

The empowr engineers are dropping everything else to ensure these issues are fixed as rapidly as possible.

 

Growing pains

These issues are being caused by a massive increase in listings, bidding and marketplace activity: Over 1,000% growth in the last 30 days.

(THANK YOU, everyone, for stepping up to the challenge that we discussed recently - the need for the empowr economy to grow very quickly if our mission is to succeed).

Unfortunately, with such rapid growth there will always be some growing pains, but our engineers have committed to working harder in their attempts to minimize such disruptions.

                                              

Timing

You should expect to see some of the issues solved in as early as a few hours from now, and the rest of them over the coming days until they are all resolved.

We appreciate the tremendous work of engineers and team empowr. certainly, issues arising in the marketplace will be resolved soon. and I have such problems with sponsored products, but definitely very soon everything will be fine.

In regards to site speed, as JC mentions-- this is the engineering team's top priority today, and they have put everything else on hold to tackle this issue. As of now, you should be seeing a tremendous increase in site speed. We want everyone to be successful at completing their goals, so we're doing everything in our power to see that this is the case. Such technical issues are relatively easy to deal with. Yes, there is more time spent on the platform, but overall, the inconvenience is not getting out of hands. When the technicians focus on them, we hope, as you said, the solutions will be forthcoming very quickly.

Can't imagine how engineers are coping up with the glitches getting fixed and feel so sad for the coaches getting so many inquiries from us making sure that we are on the right track. Also, are you still experiencing issues with bidding? The engineering team has attacked the bidding issue, and you should be able to bid problem-free.

Yea, agreed with Sylvia. I faced the same problem in case of bidding & listing. Its only for 2-3 hours now that I am feeling quite comfortable with bidding.

I also like to add another problem which I am having , that is I am not able to open inbox messages my fans are sending.
I am aware that some of are having this problem too. We understand Empowr is facing different issues and therefor being very patient.

It's great Engineers is working so hard to fix the known issues but the credit need to be held back until it's done. Sometimes giving others so much credit put them in a falsehood. We are aware when we see the improvements of the great job they are doing. What we are not aware of is how it affects our earnings when these occurrences happen. Inform us, the citizens, of how our accounts are affected. Thanks

Hi JC,
It is heartening to note that the tech team is working overtime to resolve the glitches The marketplace is really posing many problems and getting the funds back is a long drawn affair even if it happens eventually.. I know of many fellow citizens who have just given up after suffering for days on end.! In matter of fact, my refund amount of $10,000 (Yss. USD10K) is still pending although THREE MONTHS have gone by and 4 of my SCs (appointed by Empowr) have thrown up their hands in despair. I did bring this up to your kind notice sometime back and you too promised to sort it out. Nothing has happened except the Complaint resolving committee was formed, examined my case, promised to refund within 72 hrs. That was way back in June!
Such being the case, your condition of bidding for 65 per day (in my case) is most unfriendly and punishing . I would suggest that you remove it or reduce it to a single digit and increase the postings,listings and sharing. I am sure 100% of the citizens would agree with me.

Thank you for taking care of the issues. I missed around 5 daily goals because of the slowness but when new features and many users used this. Glitches and bugs are expected but very happy when there´s a quick action to fix it faster.

Two nights ago the bidding and timing out was so slow I could not hit my goal. Last night the bidding was much faster with no timing out but instead bids were not registering with on my goal graph which I suspected was happening the night before too. So last night once i had finished my shares and posts, I looked again at my graph and it said still 15 more to my goal though I knew I should have close to 30 done. Then I went to my list of My Bids and did 15 more bids on items I had been outbid on. Then I again checked my goal graph and it still said I needed 15 bids to reach my goal, the count hadn't budged one bid even!

For over 2 months I was reporting to my SC that I could not email anyone, and sent support a message about ago about it. My SC I could only contact by replying to a previous message. Most days I tested to see if I could send a message then yesterday I finally could so that problem has been corrected. Now I can contact my new SC and the purchasers of my sales. Still some problems to correct but it is happening.

The marketplace is much improved in the last few days and the bidding much faster yesterday. Kudos to the engineers and everyone working behind the scenes to make Empowr better and better.

Yes was so slow, it took what would normally take me a couple of hours a day, 12 hours the past couple of days! One day I didn't even get the options for all my bonuses as it wasn't working and lost out on them completely! Happy to report that all seems back to normal today though. Great work from the engineers and the team. :)

Thanks for getting the market place smooth. It was killing a huge time of ours while trying to meet the daily goal target. I would like to suggest the following for Market Place: -
(1) Removal of Old Content. Digital content, like e-books, photos and recipes etc has now been disallowed from listing under the category of products. Too many of these items previously listed under products category are still there. All should be removed at once by the empowr platform or members should have the option to remove them.
(2) Inclusion of services listings in daily goals. Provision of services demands a big effort on part of service providers yet it has been excluded from counting in the daily goals. Will be obliged if it is included.
(3) When we try to list ONE product, some times it is listed 2-4 times due to dead slow speed of market listings platform. We should have an option to rectify this by deleting the extra listings.

Thank you so much for the update JC. I have a question specially for you which related to all those who are not having PayPal in their county. I am here since 2011 in the beginning Payza was launched to pay fee, but after Payza still there is not any source launched to pay IPL fee for those who do not have PayPal. Please Please think about it. otherwise we people specially in Pakistan can not get any benefit from early cashout and can not verify our accounts.

Muhammad and Andreea, I've noted your issue that you haven't received a reason for your rejection. However, if you are sponsoring items, please be sure that you are sponsoring acceptable items (for example, recipes and blogs are not acceptable items to sponsor because e-books, recipes, etc. MUST be listed as Premium Blogs).
