Hello everyone,

It has come to our attention that some of you have been blocked from listing new products in the marketplace due the rejection of old listings. This is making it hard for you to hit your Daily Goals.

This last month has been a learning experience for all of us. 

 

A fresh start

As a one-time measure, everyone has now been unblocked and their listings will now be auto-approved, enabling them to hit their Daily Goal immediately, which among other benefits, allows everyone to maximize their AMCOs at the end of the month.

 

As a reminder, this is how it works:

If 9 or 10 out of the last 10 of your listings were approved, your next listing will be auto-approved and available for purchase immediately.

If 6 to 8 out of the last 10 of your listings were approved, your next listing will need to be manually approved before it is available for purchase.

If 5 or less out of the last 10 of your listings were approved, you will be blocked from listing new items for 7 days.

 

Again, everyone’s marketplace approval rate has been set to 10 approvals out of 10 listings, to allow for a fresh start.

Be sure to follow the empowr marketplace guidelines with every item you list in the marketplace to continue being auto-approved.

P.S. On any day from Sept. 1 to 13, if you had hit your daily sharing, posting and bidding goals, but not your listing goal, your overall Daily Goal will be considered hit (for the purposes of your Sept. AMCO)…

Imad, if you sponsor something that is a violation of the marketplace guidelines, then you run the risk of having that listing rejected - so always sponsor the best things possible.

That said, any listings that you sponsored before the new guidelines came into place will not negatively affect your marketplace approval score - only new listings.

From the time I know my listing has been manually approved, I only hit the post and share goals... what is on my mind was the one announced before that less than 4 goals hit will not be counted (no other scenario like manually approved list) for AMCO.

Thanks Brian for this measure, it will really help us from now on.

I Would like to propose that even if somebody lost the auto approval benefit for inexperience or because he didn't request help to us the coaches. It would be very useful if they date of when the listing of the users were submitted it's registered in the daily goal dashboard as pending this way if it's approved the day counts instead of counting the day it's approved.

That way our moderator team and users will have less pressure because for what they work on a specific day will be registered and count if they did it correctly.

I also would like to recommend that instead of a blank space on the listing specially in the seller's note, it's created a kind of format from now on that allow the users to know what information they have to provide by just filling the spaces (there might be obligatory camps also without the ones you can't end the listing)

I propose this because we normally acknowledge the difficulties of the users to list when they already damaged their score in the rejection messages.

If you click on the specific date inside of the Daily Goals History, you will see the status of every listing on the day it was submitted - this is already live.

Could you please elaborate on your second point? I fear I am missing it.

1. Moderators need to have at least a look on the listing before pressing "Approve" or "Reject" buttons. One of my premium blogs containing "Home Remedies for Diabetes" was rejected declaring it a "Pyramid & MLM Scheme", while the other with "No Reason" for which I suffered from 10-14 Sep. Had the moderator looked ONLY on SUBJECT of the listings, he would never have rejected them.

2. For being inexperienced in the market place, we made & sponsored many listings in/from the wrong categories, before introduction of new features. Those listings & sponsored listings are badly affecting our performance & are going to affect many of us for an unknown longer period. Is is not possible to give us a ONCE TIME CHANCE to delete our own (OLD) wrong listings & RETURN or REJECT sponsored ones?

3. There are hundreds of thousands people still makings listings jokingly which are never rejected and they are completing their goals daily, while we suffer for a Moderator's decision in haste who declares "Premium Blog of Home Remedies" a Pyramid Scheme. Those "SPECIAL" joke listings are like this:
Subject: aaa, bbbbbbb, fffffffff, c, k, jkdjdk, & so on, these all are subjects of the listings
Description: no need, ddddddd, not required, listing, goal, hoiu;iojho, nothing.......so on, these all are descriptions & a pic of anything is attached (and these listings are being sold & sponsored)
You can find countless such listings in a SINGLE profile as those people list ONLY these "SPECIAL" items. They never suffer but we suffer for them because who can sit 24 hours biding every item after reading it A to Z as there are more illegal listings than the legal ones. (That's why even many success coaches are sponsoring such listings)
4. There are others who only list Photos & Wallpapers in different categories with such a deceptive names & descriptions that bidders cannot detect it unless we spent hours only on bidding.
5. Listings of Premium Blogs are not counted for listing goals. But when they get rejected, suddenly they become valuable & their rejection is counted against our daily goals? This is a mystery we're unable to understand.
In my opinion, marketplace problem can never be solved unless we clear the old garbage at once and then everyone (including us members) report the wrong listing instantly he/she comes across it.

Glad for this feature but here should be implemented one thing as I know sponsored item concerns to you but in actual the person blocked should be that one to whom the Listings belongs not the sponsoring person please. Is there any possibility to erase those reported items from the Marketplace as soon as they are verified by the technical team? I think that it could be a way to protect the customer from liking, biding or sponsoring such a listing! There are so many that it is impossible not to make errors!

Your sale listings will be approved very soon, empowr team is trying to make sure that it's done within the first 24 hours or less.

It takes a minimum of 10 business days to receive your AMCO. Please be patient and you will soon receive it. No one has received them yet to their Paypal.

It is now obvious that process of listing is a matter of concern for many citizens. Perhaps software needs enhancement. A DATABASE of everyday and overall listing, accessible/visible to the citizen concerned may be the solution.

Great news! Thanks very much to Brian and Empowr team for your hard work. I am one of the sufferers because of those listing items that were ebook before the new market rules implemented recently. They were ebook products in old market systems. When new market rules implemented, these ebooks automatically became the violation items as book products listing. We have no way to delete them or move them around before...
I have a question. I won an auction item today and found out the item violated the new listing rules in marketplace. It is still within the 72 hours decision period. I definitely should not sponsor it. But there is any way to report it or let the original seller to delete it without having to pay it and going through dispute process? Thanks!

Good point, Jun,
I started paying for all blog items that I won, because if you sponsor them and the sellers deleted or unpublished the blogs during the sponsoring period you will be in trouble, you cannot expect peoples behave.
Also don't sponsor items for long term of time, choose 1 or 3 days, because the system is automatically resubmitting the auction for 3 times, and that may take long time to be able to address the problem of the violated items.

Thank you this is really great progress for the MP, I really wondering I got rejection to only the items are going to ship to my country {Egypt} is that a serious reason to block me 7 days .. What is the problem if i want to ship only some products inside Egypt. Forcefully, I have to do that it is not my choice because we are not allowed to ship some products for example { Electronic devices, liquid, food, gold or silver} we need permission from Ministry of Interior or Ministry of Agriculture etc... it means very complicated long procedure.. i hope you ll see about it... Hi Nourein :) I want to be sure that I'm understanding your question correctly. Are you asking how to specific your shipping locations, or how to limit where your items are shipped to? You can indeed specific where your item ships to when creating a listing, by typing in your country or zip code, or by using the drop down menu.
