The idea of having more than ONE President is great. An Office of president is also great.
I suggest to elect the first and the second only. There's 2 salaries to pay.? I guess it's enough.
The President and the first running up. One as President, Community and the second as President Economy.

Thanks Jo Mas for your suggestion but there is division of labour. If Brian, JC & May Ram heading empowr could say the work is intense and is going to get more intense. I agree for a minimum of 4 Presidents taken different roles. This will help them to deliver. If on the long run is no more necessary, we can go back to whatever is obtainable at the time.
Please Brian & JC. I totally agree to this suggestion. It sounds great. Let give it a try.
You do realize that paying 4 or 5 Presidents will mean less payouts for SC's and citizens? Is this fair? I think not!
I am in favor of one President and a Vice President, as in a Democracy. I worked for many years as PA to the Chief Whip of the Democratic Alliance in South Africa, and know for a fact that too many cooks spoil the broth. Be careful

As far as I know. President is only good for one. Only one president should be mentioned but you can hire the five with a different category in their wages. Highest rate will be the president and the rest will be called in other names like for example a CHAIRMAN. A cahirman of a Local Merchants, chairman of the community, chairman of education and etc.

Hello everyone, first forgive me for my English and now I expose my thoughts on this subject.
A single president and after he chooses his advisors as two, since they would also be expenses for the community the payment of the advisors, I do not believe that the community is now in a position to pay presidents of different departments as suggested in this post . We have not yet started with the Empowr currency, yet no benefits of any kind have been collected from the citizens, we can not charge all of them to pay salaries that I do not doubt would benefit, but now I do not think they should. I think John Cringle has hit the nail on the head. Yes the leadership role has become far too large a burden for one individual but I do believe that there still is the need for a coordinator (President). May I suggest 4 Vice Presidents (In charge of) as a great compromise. My vote will definitely go for Katherine as that President.

The Vice Presidents need not move into the San Diego Headquarters of empowr as would be required of the President and could meet periodically for meetings with the empowr board and advisors, the employees and various departments that they work with to oversee their effective working and report appropriately to the President.
Great idea, that will give more leadership availability for all different aspects of the platform.
However, we also might need to deploy additional workforce under each of them as we need people who implement and execute the goals at a ground level along with leadership.

J.C Could you share with us the organization structure of empowr, you are asking the community to vote for the new concept without sharing us this information, we need to know how many employees in the company and in each department and their position titles, how many departments divisions in the company, what is the employees' role especially the senior ones, what i know and read from the platform, the company has one chairman and 3 chiefs, is that all, what are the main roles of each department and divisions.
One year of presidency is a very short period, Most of the candidates coming from outside the USA, they need a year to understand the company people, process, and technology, in addition, they need time to understand American low and local environment, many of them if not all did not work before in the role of president in this size and in hi-tech companies or many of them they did even have a chairman role, they need time and efforts to understand this role, when they got all of that they will be asked to leave as the presidency period is over, and the new president or presidents elected.
In most companies and in my opinion, One president as a chairman is enough, assisted by a vise president, however, I suggest the vice president should be an experienced candidate and in my opinion the only one can fit this position currently is Brain as he is capable to handle the company complexity in its current projects and operations. his role is very essential to help the new president in his new role, and to the continuity of the company. Two many new presidents at once for just a year could be a disaster to the company, a mix of the two is very important.

In addition to having just one President and 1 vice president, I suggest that while the position of the President remained elective and the winner of the last 2 finalists (presidential candidates), the vice president position should be non-elective and with tenure elongation of a minimum period of 3 years.
The Vice Presidents should be selected under the guidance of President Brian, the empowr board, and advisors and shouldn't necessarily be those who were candidates in the just ended elections, because that could cause divided loyalties or unnecessary conflicts of interest which wouldn't augur for the well being and progress of the empowr community. They should be selected based on their knowledge, competence, experience, and expertise in the various departments that they would be working with to enhance their performance and to inspire the employees with their knowledge and expertise in that department
I support this idea because I believe an elected group of Presidents will work more effective than a single President.
Hello JC. empowr has been working for a long time now to revolutionize the concept of social media and the lay of the land in the online business market. It has a mission and a goal that all of us (I assume) want to be reached. empowr would not have come this far without being flexible and adjusting goal posts whenever necessary. As the voting seems to progress, there doesn't seem to be one majority winner. If it worked for Microsoft, my idea is that it will work for empowr to have an Office of Presidents, each of the candidates seemingly having an equal percentage more or less of the votes. How much more democratic does it get. I think it fits entirely in one of the concepts of empowr to prevent soft corruption and abuse of power. I think it will also speed up the process of processing and solving issues that citizens have and that until now often take a long time to be solved.
I think that the Office of Presidents needs to have either 3 or 5 participants to prevent voting issues. Everything in empowr is unconventional. It is one of the things I love about it. It is some kind of scavenger hunt trying to find the ultimate road to achieve the mission and goal. We can only move forward when we try to open the doors that pop up in front of us and to find out if it may be the way to go. How the votes are casts right now, the precedent of other companies having done the same and the idea of having an Office of Presidents popping up in your head(s), looks to me an inviting door that I would like to open and find out what is behind it. My two cents worth of thoughts.

• President—The President leads the country. He or she is the head of state, leader of the Empowr government.
• Vice President—The Vice President supports the President.
• The Cabinet—Cabinet members serve as advisors to the President. They include the Vice President, heads of executive departments; the President nominates Cabinet members.
We cannot be changing the rules and parameters set forth prior to commencing with the established election process. Doing so would also be unfair to those viable candidates that were eliminated in the first round elections.
If a change has to be made, which seems to be the consensus on this board, my proposal is the following:
The next President of Empowr should be decided, as by the Original guidelines, were the two candidates with the most votes shall have a run off in a third round election. That will decide who our next President will be.
Afterwards, the remaining four candidates, if they so choose to serve their new President and Empowr, can assume Vice-Presidential duties as assigned to then by the new President.
Vice Presidents will not be required to relocate to San Diego, but rather be able to perform their specific duties as assigned to them from their current home bases.
Prior to any Vice President implementing changes to the structure and internal workings of Empowr, such changes must be approved by and only by the President.

I believe this is a great idea, however, I believe there should be one president who is the leader of the office of presidents. This leader will be the face, spokesperson & representative of the community. And in my opinion all of the remaining 5 candidates are deserving of forming this group. Each one of them has unique qualities that will benefit the community but whoever comes out with the most votes should definitely be the person to lead.
Excellent suggestion Yves; the current election of one president should proceed as is with him/her choosing the Vice President/s (maybe 4) from among the other deserving candidates to whom various portfolios can then be assigned! There should only be one President.

This is an excellent idea to have a office of the President consisting of 4-5 people, where everyone will be engaged in a certain industry - this will greatly improve the work and accordingly the empowr economy will only grow. Since one person can not manage all branches of industry at the same time.

I think we should trust the democratic process and allow the two candidates who get the most votes to face each other in the final election. To do otherwise suggests that the community cannot be relied upon to select the best candidate for the office of president.
Decisions like this need to be addressed but need to be done so by a Vote of a Majority of the OWNERS not just those that that make comments. I agree that the divisions need to be split up (No One Person has the Best Answer to all the Problems)

The President Should surround themselves with other Great Leaders they Choose for each division of the organisation to keep them informed and make recommendations on how they are should be ran to best achieve reaching the Mission desired.
In My onion having multiple elected leaders would only deter the operation of ever being successful. Although We do need to elect a Vice President picked by president to assist them and be next inline if something was to impair the President from being able to carry out their duties.
Combining the talents of 3 or more, Office of the President can only help empowr! Great idea!

I love the new idea of OTP. For one person is too much all this complexity work. When have 3-4 president, have opportunity each person to deal in which area its expertise is outstanding. One president with his/her own administration. He chooses suitable and qualified candidates he feels can successfully maintain say 3 or 4 Department’s of his administration.Their main tasks will be to coordinate and implement the Presidents policies which he/she had campaigned for. They all work under the Presidents supervision who is wholly responsible for his teams success.
