Hello everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know that both myself and the team here are working non-stop to get transfer outs and a few other great features to you as soon as possible. As a result, we will not be able to host the live stream tomorrow morning as regularly scheduled.

I'm very excited to announce to you all of the great things we are working on, so be on the lookout for an announcement on those in the next 48 hours.

In the meantime, we're also preparing for the empowr presidential debates next Friday, September 7th and need your help in making sure we get all of the questions that you care about answered by the candidates.

Please send us any questions you'd like the candidates to answer during the debate to TheCoin@empowr.com, and we will do our best to have the candidates answer those for you during the debate.

Hi Brian I would like to bring something to your attention that is a significant problem at this time.
Our power level fee's have increased along with the drop in coin value nand our earnings have also increased. However, because the average coin price for the past month has been $1.99 which I will note been computed to using the rounded price for the coin in cents per day. Because citizens earned at an and average coin price of $1.99 we have earned nearly enough to pay our power level fees. This is not a workable situation. If the citizens are not able to pay these fees then maturation time will be increased because of dropping power levels and a large number of people may choose to abandon the use of our platform.

I suggest that for this month and all month's going forward you compute the power level fee at the average coin price for the past month. Using the past month's coin prices would reduce this months power level fees by nearly tenfold but it will allow most of the current power level users to maintain their power level position and continue to spread the word about joining us here. The failure to make an equitable solution to this issue in a very time manner will have the exact opposite effect.

The average coin price method is both fair and equitable for both the company and for the citizens.

I would personally recommend making a community announcement on the community blog today sometime before people go to sleep so they do not go and make power level downgrades in order to protect their coins. If they downgrade their power levels it will be much more difficult to make changes to their account if the decision the modify the existing power level fee is done too late.

This matter affects a lot of people.

#1 - your power level makes no difference with your level of maturation. Only your mission role does. So I hope that addresses that concern.
#2 - we're aware of the concerns that people have in regards to their power level and are looking into a longer-term solution at the moment. In the meantime, our top priority is getting the transfer out functionality live. As mentioned in this post, you'll be seeing an announcement from us soon in regards to that and other features.

Hi Brian, thanks for the clarification and for the sending the Pre-coins that are required to pay this month's power level fees. Many people are concerned that they have not received the same results, and I'm wondering if it is being offered to all Citizens. In order to restore order on the empowr platform, this same consideration should be given to all citizens on the platform, including SC's and SPV's without them needing to ask for it. I am saying this because it is obvious that the Success Coaches are not allowed to ask for anything publicly. I do understand this is a big undertaking, but I just want to make you aware that the Citizens are wondering if they are next in line since other Citizens are saying "thank you" to you on the Community Announcement. Is everyone going to get the pre coins required into their account? I am not sure whether to power up or not. The coin price is so low now that even cashout is worthless in regards to covering marketplace costs. All my items were sold with the expectation of the coin being worth more than 50c. I have sales listed 10 days ago that I am not even sure I should send now as they were not listed at a 10c per empowr price. I suggested in an earlier post that the marketplace should be in USD and converted at the checkout - if that is good enough for pU fees, why not for our sales? Maybe I will just stay with no power level for a while and see what happens. I have never felt so unimpressed with Empowr as I do at this moment and the silence from above is deafening

Brian, JC wrote "How should we feel when the coin goes down?" Great, of course, if we have the cash money to buy ETH to buy more coin. We are definitely not earning, rather we have been loosing from the sale of our products at auction for weeks now. JC gave us only one side of the Coin decline in value Facts. We were not informed of the impact of the severe decrease in value would have on our Power Level fees. We were not informed upfront that we would not see our Daily Goal Bidding Bar (eliminated), and the Mission Wheel (taken away) because we didn't downgrade ourselves based on the number of pre-coins we had on our respective payment date. Without NOTICE power level payments went from automatic to "you choose", and inconsistently so as I've been told by numerous citizens in my Circle of Trust. Since we are essentially contractual partners on this Platform, as our President and representative to the Empowr Team, you have the duty to disclose changes in advance that will adversely affect us. To say that you and the Team are busy with Transfer Outs and other surprises is not the answer we deserve when there is an Immediate Issue to be addressed uni-formally. Effective leaders deal with Urgent problems without delay so they don't have to go back later when it is nearly impossible to fix after the fact. Your citizenry deserves nothing less than transparency and full disclosure of all matters that affect us - the good and the bad, so that we can make informed decisions for ourselves.
Brian you, the HSC and our individual coaches tell us to go on posting and sharing as if nothing has happened; but Everything Has Happened. We need clear and concise answers that apply equitably to all citizenry across the board. Not just to the vocal, and even with them, disproportionately.
For Empowr to be Successful and become one of the top five Crypto currencies in the world, we must eliminate internal confusion and work in unity with transparency, otherwise this will never happen. I for one am embarrassed that I asked my friends to invest when it was at $2 and $3 a coin. How do I explain to them that they have nothing of value today? They can't even sell and get their money back. What is Empowr doing to correct this they ask. I am at a loss for words to answer that ?. Until all this mess is corrected, I don't see any businesses and/or individuals investing their hard earned money into EMPR coin in the volume that will raise the value above $1, the basis on which we earned our pre-coins. That maturation for Transfer Out is based on Mission Role now and not Power Level is Great, but, at 10 cents a coin what does the citizen have for all their hard work? Not enough for even postage. Forget replenishment of inventory.

Howdy Brian,

Here's my take on the current excessive Power User fees and what's about to happen. Across the board, members from Orange Basic all the way up to Pearl Star are going to have their Pre-Coin accounts bankrupted. Founders will get a double whammy shaft because a downgrade forces a new maturation period. I was also under the impression that if we met our Daily Goals and maintained our current Power User levels that our Pre-Coin earnings would be sufficient equity to satisfy the monthly debt service necessary to maintain our levels. That's as clear as I can put it. During last week’s Live Stream, you promised to look into this situation. I don’t have to remind you that we are almost upon zero hour.

A simple and equitable solution would be to immediately place a moratorium on Power User fees until such time the Coin has stabilized to reasonable levels. That would then give time to rethink and prevent the decimation of Pre-Coins that everyone has worked so hard for.
I suggest that going forward, amortizing Power Level fees over a 200 day (preferably 365 day) rolling moving average based on the daily closing price of the Coin. What if the Coin was at $7.00 today?

As the outgoing President of empowr, I would strongly urge you to protect your legacy as a great President and immediately act on this looming issue. Otherwise, you will be remembered as the Jimmy Carter of empowr. Choose wisely my friend -- Time is of the essence.

For all Power Level fees to increase seven-fold +++ because it was decided to move away from " Stable Growth " is unfair to all of the consistent diehards on the Platform who have worked their butts off to make the platform and its marketplace viable. Since the coin is now at less than what the average price was when we went live ( 26 cents), we need an IMMEDIATE and equitable solution as this crash in value impacts each and every one of us. I suggest that the Power Level fees for September be either 1) waived in entirety to allow time for the citizens to help get the coin back up to the $1 value; or 2) September and all future months Power Level Fees be based on the average market value of the coin from the previous month, or 3) base the Power Level fees on 1 for $1 until the market value exceeds the $1 value for a 30 day period. The citizens are the backbone of the Marketplace and Empowr has a fiduciary duty to provide equitable solutions to our concerns as they arise. Nothing should be charged to any citizen until this Urgent matter is addressed and the Transfer Out Function is live. " If there is an issue with your power level, we will work on it later " is not an acceptable solution. When notified of a problem, immediate intervention and /or prevention is the solution, not go back and try to fix it after the damage is done. Respectfully submitted, Founder and Pearl Star Ruth

Thank you very much to Ken Spence, John Cringle, Wollf Tergus, Bobbyr19 / Ruth Malanowski, and other fellow citizens for voicing out your concerns on power level and marketplace sales issues.

Many of the citizens here including me are in the same predicament as you, as pointed out in your comments above but we did not receive any pre coins since we did not complain here first to President Brian to help us pay or top up our insufficient pre coins funds in order to maintain our power user level. As such, we were downgraded two days ago.

Today, September 3, 2018, we are in a much more difficult situation because the value of our beloved Empowr coin has gone down to 10 cents (it is even 6 cents at Coincodex.com) making it more harder to pay for our power user fees. If this trend goes on for weeks or months, how are we going to recoup our losses in the marketplace including thousands of US Dollars worth of products that we purchased and pump it into the empowr economy for the last few years.

I know and I am very aware and grateful for all the hard work JC, Brian, and Empowr Team including Success Coaches are doing here. We all want Empowr to succeed and we all believed in your vision that's why we are still here supporting every decisions you make. We just want more transparency, accountability, and equality to play into consideration when you make these decisions since it affects all citizens. This way, we are not left hanging and trying to figure out what to do next.

I suggest that you temporarily suspend the Power User features for a while and let the community decide first how to implement this features that will benefit everybody. If this is not possible due to its connectivity with other features, you should at least restore everyone’s Power Level status prior to September 1st then give the community one month to decide on what is equitable for everybody.

When you are done with the transfer out process of coins, I also suggest that we focus more attention on the value and stability of Empowr coin and the marketplace. At this point, what do we need to do in order to increase the value of the coin thus making the marketplace stable too.
